{"id":619242,"date":"2026-03-04T15:26:35","date_gmt":"2026-03-04T20:26:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/metalinjection.net\/?p=619242"},"modified":"2026-03-04T15:26:38","modified_gmt":"2026-03-04T20:26:38","slug":"iron-maidens-sold-out-los-angeles-show-moved-because-of-football","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/metalinjection.net\/news\/bummer-alert\/iron-maidens-sold-out-los-angeles-show-moved-because-of-football","title":{"rendered":"IRON MAIDEN&#039;s Sold-Out Los Angeles Show Moved Because Of Football"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong><a href=\"\/tag\/iron-maiden\">Iron Maiden<\/a><\/strong> fans in Los Angeles will need to adjust their plans: due to restrictions on simultaneous events at Exposition Park, the band&#039;s originally scheduled Saturday, September 26 show at BMO Stadium has been moved to Sunday, September 27.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The change comes because the USC Trojans face the Oregon Ducks at nearby Memorial Coliseum, which holds 100,000 spectators.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Concert promoter Live Nation explained, &#034;This is an unprecedented circumstance and is unfortunately entirely outside of either our or the band&#039;s control. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this change may cause and appreciate your understanding as we comply with venue and city regulations.&#034;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Manager <strong>Rod Smallwood<\/strong> added, &#034;We were completely shocked when we were told about this unique situation affecting our sold-out L.A. show on Saturday night. We have worked with the team at Live Nation, and rather than cancelling this second show, we were thankfully able to move the show to the following night, Sunday, September 27.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#034;We are naturally mortified at the issues and inconvenience raised for our fans who hold tickets, but there is sadly nothing we can do other than move the show a day later.&#034;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Friday, September 25 performance at BMO Stadium remains unchanged. All tickets purchased for the original Saturday show will be honored for the rescheduled Sunday concert.
